About Us

Extra Mile Moving is a company founded by brothers Stephen and Joseph Marshall. We set out to bring the highest quality moving experience possible. Raised in a Christian family of twelve children, we learned many qualities that we seek to incorporate into our day-to-day lives.

After working together in the moving industry for several years, we quickly realized that consistent quality needed to be improved. Determined to do things differently, we started our company in 2020 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and later moved our headquarters to Brighton in 2022. Our business is designed to provide the most stress-free, flexible transition possible. Our primary goal is to see our clients happy and settled in their new homes, and we will always go the Extra Mile to make that happen.
